MI Home Loa nis a loan available to first-time home buyers in Michigan, and repeat homebuyers in targeted areas, to purchase a home up to $224,500 (for those who qualify).  

MI Home Loan Flex helps repeat homebuyers in Michigan purchase a home up to $224,500 (for those who qualify).  All home buyers work directly with a participating lender and may qualify for down payment assistance up to $7500.

If you’re already a home owner, you may qualify for the Property Improvement Program (PIP) Loan for updating or repairing your roofing, heating, air conditioning, septic system, and more.  Apply through a MSHDA approved Participating Lender or Community Agent.

Mortgage Credit Certificate Program

The Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC)program provides housing assistance by issuing a federal tax credit to first-time homebuyers statewide and repeat homebuyers in targeted areas.
