3. Once you register, you can set your username and avatar on your profile page. 

4. High-quality comments may earn an "Editor's Pick" designation, which moves it to the top of the thread. It may even be featured during a newscast! 

5. You can follow replies to comments, and even follow commenters, by selecting the bell icon at the top of the comments thread. See the upper right: 

4. Along with commenting, you can upvote comments you like and report offensive comments.
